To All Those Studying Thread Treatments at The Thread Beauty Academy
In any field, the deeper you pursue knowledge, the more profound it becomes—aesthetic medicine is no exception.
Around 25 years ago, when I first became a plastic surgeon, aesthetic medicine was not widely accepted. It was often viewed as the lowest tier of healthcare, even criticized as a field driven by financial motives rather than patient care. While times have changed, young doctors who complete their initial training are often thrown directly into the complex world of aesthetic medicine without the necessary foundational knowledge.
Without proper anatomical training and hands-on experience—ideally under expert supervision in a structured learning environment—many practitioners struggle to develop their technical skills over time. Unfortunately, I see an increasing number of doctors facing this challenge.
Despite their strong desire to learn and improve, the reality is that they often lack access to the right opportunities for growth.
At The Thread Beauty Academy (TTBA), our mission is clear—to support doctors and nurses in providing safe, effective, and advanced aesthetic medicine. We are committed to fostering a new generation of highly skilled professionals, ensuring that “Truth, Excellence, and Beauty” are brought to patients through expertise and ethical practice.
Through education and collaboration, we can shape the future of aesthetic medicine together. I encourage each of you to embrace this journey, continue learning, and strive for excellence. The future is bright, and the impact we make in this field will bring genuine joy and transformation to countless patients.
